🎂 Tall Cake Care & Safety Guide
Tall cakes require extra care due to their height and structure. Please follow these guidelines to keep your cake stable and looking its best.
Use extra caution when moving the cake and while driving. Keep flat at all times. Do not jostle it!
⚠️ Important:
Internal Supports
Many tall cakes contain internal dowels and support structures to keep them stable.
These supports must be removed before serving. Please check each slice as you cut.
Never smash anyone's face into their cake, it could be deadly.
⚠️ Stability Warning
Tall cakes are more delicate than standard cakes and may shift if handled improperly. Once an order leaves my hands, I am not responsible for damage caused during transport, improper storage, or handling.
✨ Best Experience Tip
Cake tastes best at room temperature—don’t skip this step! Cold cake can be firm and less flavorful.
❄️Freezing your leftovers
Freezing leftover cake is one of the best ways to save it for later. I typically say to eat within 3-6 months but can still be safe up to a year later if stored properly.
For the best taste and texture, wrap slices tightly in plastic wrap, then place in a freezer-safe bag to prevent freezer burn and odor absorption.
Defrosting: Thaw in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight to maintain moisture. Then let come to room temperature for 1-2 hours before eating.
Do not refreeze after thawed.
